This Saturday, join Elif for a full-day trip to the charming neighborhoods on the Anatolian side of Istanbul and explore the rich cultural heritage and lifestyle of this vibrant city on a relaxed summer day.

What is awaiting you?
This is a multi-stop trip via ferries, starting from Emirgan. We will begin our exploration in Çengelköy, where we will enjoy a Turkish breakfast. Then, we will hop on the ferry again to Kanlıca, where we will wander through the quaint streets, embark on a photo tour, and perhaps try some Kanlıca yogurt and traditional street food such as kokoreç and balık ekmek. Our final stop will be Anadolu Hisarı, where we can relax by the Bosphorus and lie on the grass to enjoy this relaxed summer weekend day.
Event Plan
08:15 AM – 10:15 AM: Our bus departs from the campus at 08:15 AM. We will then take an interchange and go to Emirgan. Our ferry departs from Emirgan at 10:15 AM. Until then, we can start with a quick coffee break.
10:15 AM – 11:05 AM: Travel to Çengelköy.
11:05 AM – 12:25 PM: Breakfast and time spent in Çengelköy.
12:25 PM – 01:10 PM: Travel from Çengelköy to Kanlıca.
01:10 PM – 04:20 PM: Spending time in Kanlıca, including an ice cream break, a photo tour in the streets, etc.
04:20 PM – 04:30 PM: Travel from Kanlıca to Anadolu Hisarı.
04:30 PM – 05:20 PM: Spending time in Anadolu Hisarı.
05:20 PM – 05:40 PM: Travel from Anadolu Hisarı to Emirgan.
