Damat Halayı
It is a traditional Turkish folk dance that is performed during weddings and celebrations. The term can be translated as “Groom’s Halay” in English. The dance typically involves energetic and rhythmic movements, with participants forming a circle or a line. It’s a lively and joyful dance where people join hands, move in sync, and celebrate the festive occasion. The “halay” is a common folk dance genre in Turkish culture, and each region may have its own variations and styles.
