This Saturday, come and join our KU Guide, Karya, for a delightful Nature Picnic at Atatürk Urban Forest.
We’ll embark on a hike to explore the beauty of the forest. Don’t forget to pack your favorite snacks, tea, and coffee for a delightful picnic experience filled with engaging activities and lively conversations. Rest assured, we have a backup plan in case the weather doesn’t cooperate.

Join us for an exciting day at Atatürk Urban Forest this Saturday. We’ll explore the nearby beautiful forest together on an adventurous journey. Don’t forget to bring snacks and your favorite beverages because, after our hike, we’ll gather for a delightful picnic. As we enjoy our snacks, we’ll engage in fun activities and build lasting bonds.
If the weather doesn’t cooperate, no need to worry! We have a backup plan. We’ll head to the recently renovated Old Buyukdere Dock, now home to Espresso Lab, which offers a captivating view. There, we’ll savor a cup of coffee and enjoy warm, friendly conversations.

2:00 PM: Meeting at the West Campus Entrance
Travel time in bus 150/154
2:45 PM- Meeting at Hacıosman Bus Stop
3.00 PM-4 PM: Hiking in the Ataturk Urban Forest
4.00- 6 PM: Picnic and activities

Where and when to meet the KU Guides and the group?
- West Campus Bus Stop at 2:00 PM
- Hacıosman Bus Stop at 2:45 PM
Do I have to pay for anything?
Participants are responsible for covering their own expenses, including transportation, food, and beverages. Entrance to Ataturk Forest is free of charge. It would be appreciated if you could bring your own food and beverages to enjoy during the picnic.
Please note: Bringing something to sit on is a great idea, as we’ll be picnicking on the grass.
We recommend carrying cash and an İstanbulkart (public transport card) with you.
