Dear KU International Community,

We would like to announce that we have reformatted our Weekly News for KU’s International Community.

We have been creating, collecting content, editing, and publishing them weekly on KU Daily since April 1st, 2020. The outbreak of COVID-19 let us start such an initiative for the KU international community. The initial aim was to inform the community about the latest COVID-19 related news and to guide them to appropriate sources. Therefore, we started publishing our first issue as News Update. It then evolved to be an inevitable service of our office. We wanted to cover more topics related to our international community, news particularly from Istanbul that affects their lives. The name of our publication was then changed to Weekly News as of November 20th, 2020.

The appreciation comments and suggestions helped us continue our service since they were of great motivation for us.

By taking the feedback we received and our experience on publishing weekly news into consideration, we’ve decided to switch the format of the Weekly News and the platform we publish it.

What’s new?

• From now on, our Weekly News will be Bi-Weekly News.
• Instead of KU Daily, we are going to send individual emails to the KU international community members.
• The new Bi-Weekly News will be in PDF format which will be attached to the emails.
