This time, our KU Guide Gülce will take you on a tour by ferry to Yeniköy!

| Yeniköy is an area that locals visit particularly on weekends. Its beautiful views and fresh air should be experienced. It has a nice area where you can walk down beside the Bosphorus.
You can go there via public transport. You have different options such as the bus which is the usual way of travel. However, you can also use the ferry which is a more scenic route and is far from the traffic jam. |
Yeniköy Spor Kulübü Tesisleri is a restaurant run by the Yeniköy sports club. These types of places are usually cheaper than typical restaurants.
It sits next to the Bosphorus. You can eat your food and enjoy the view. It can be windy, FYI. |
In Türkiye we have a culture of coffee houses. Yeniköy Kahvesi is one of them. In these places, people gather and play cards or Okey (a tile-based game). You will be able to feel like a local when you are there. Yeniköy Kahvesi is surrounded by aged trees. It is like a nook. |

- 13.30 Meeting at Rumelifeneri Campus Bus Stop
- 13.45 Departure via minibus (dolmuş)
- 14.35 Departure from Sarıyer Pier via ferry
- 15.05 Arrival at İstinye Pier
- 15.20 Lunch at Yeniköy Sports Club Facility
- 16.50 Departure for Yeniköy Coffee House
- People who want to buy ice cream can do so on the way from MUA
- 17.10 Arrival at Yeniköy Kahvesi, you can play cards or Okey (a tile-based game) and enjoy the beverages
- 18.50 Departure to the İstinye Pier
- 19.05 Getting on the ferry
- 19.30 Arriving at Sarıyer
- 19.35 Getting on a vehicle that goes to KU

- KU Main Campus, the Bus Stop at 13.30
- Sarıyer Pier at 14.15
Do I have to pay for anything?
The tour is free of charge. Yet, you are required to pay for your transportation and the food&bevarages you buy during the tour. Our guides can not make any payment on your behalf.
