Students whose nationalities are listed below may collect and bring a document (Formuler) from their home country. The formuler states the bilateral social security agreement between the country of origin and Türkiye and must indicate the specific agreement code.

Eligible individuals can access emergency public health care services in Türkiye equivalent to health care services in their home countries.

Please be informed, private health care providers might have limited or no participation with this insurance plan.

In order to be covered by Turkish Public Health Insurance, you must activate your formuler in Istanbul by following our instructions.

What is Formuler?

The formuler is a document that is issued in accordance with the Bilateral Social Security Agreement between your country and Türkiye. It MUST indicate a specific agreement code on it, in the top right corner usually. You can request and collect it from your local Social Security Office.
