The Rahmi M. Koç Museum is a private industrial museum in Istanbul, Türkiye, dedicated to the history of transport, industry, and communications. Founded by Rahmi M. Koç, a member of one of Türkiye’s wealthiest families and retired chairman of the Koç Group, the museum opened on December 13, 1994. By participating in this event, you can learn about the wealth of the Koç Family, which owns many companies in Türkiye, including Ford Otosan, Yapıkredi, Arçelik, Otokar, and is also the owner of Koç University.

Event Plan

9:45 AM: Meeting at the Main Campus shuttle stop to go to Hacıosman Metro Station.
10:00 AM: Boarding the 154 IETT Bus.
Travel time includes metro, bus, and walking.
11:50 AM: Arrival at the Rahmi M. Koç Museum.
12:00 PM (Noon): Entering the Museum.
03:30 PM: Exiting the Museum.
05:30 PM: Return to campus.

  • Main Campus Shuttle Stop at 9:45 AM
  • Rahmi M. Koç Museum at 11:50 AM

Do I have to pay for anything?

The entrance fee is 95₺ (If the number of participants exceeds 10, the entrance fee is 60₺). Additionally, participants are responsible for their expenses, including transportation, food, and beverages (Round trip transportation cost is roughly 110₺).

It is recommended to carry some cash and a public transport card (İstanbulkart) with you.

Make sure you activate your KU ID card and top it up to use it for the private express shuttle. Learn how to do that here.

Deadline: Participants must fill out the RSVP form by March 22nd at 11:59 PM.
