Buddy Program

The Buddy Program is a volunteering opportunity for KU students to assist new degree-seeking international students during their adaptation process to life at at KU.

With your support in the voluntary Buddy Program, you will have the chance to learn about other culturesmake new friends, improve your interpersonal skills, and receive a certificate at the end of the program.

KU Volunteers

KU Volunteers is a student club at Koç University that has been active since 2001, and the club has developed many projects in different regions of Türkiye, especially Sarıyer, Istanbul.

Sub-Groups

KU Volunteers has inspired several sub-groups, with specific areas of interest, including an Animal Friends group, an Awareness group, an Environment group, as well as the Koç University Society for Education (KET).

Projects

One of their main projects is Koç University Tiny Hearts Project (KÜMYÜP), in which volunteers get together with orphans. Another project is the annual “Unobstructed Show,” which brings people with disabilities together for various social activities. KU Volunteers also organize an annual Children’s Festival. Other projects include “Share My Dream” and the Koç University Magical Wishes Project. More information can be found here.
